What Did We Think?

The best way to describe Superglamp, is to say that their stylish and extremely clever little houses are like miniature log cabins. Don’t let their tiny size fool you though, the cabin we stayed in had ample space for the two of us (they sleep up to 4), and really felt like a home away from home.

We went to down to Swiss Farm Touring Park in Henley-on-Thames to stay in one, and to get a better feel for them and loved every minute of our stay.

Inside, there’s a table that seats 4, a good sized sofa (which can also be converted to provide sleeping space for 2 more people), and there’s a comfy large double bed too. Add to that a kitchen area, en-suite toilet and shower and you’ve got ideal self catering accommodation – perfect for campsite and holiday park owners, but also perfect for homeowners wanting addition space for overnight visitors or wanting to generate a decent income from Air B&B.

The quality of the structure was excellent and we loved the natural solid wood used throughout. Step outside and there’s a large veranda providing plenty of shaded seating and there’s even space for a hot tub!

The Verdict

Superglamp looks like it could be a perfection solution for an entrepreneurial land owner wanting to choose an alternative to the bell tent glamping or small pod style glamping accommodation largely available. They are also perfect for holiday park owners wanting to tap into the huge popularity of ‘tiny houses’.

You don’t need be a business owner or thinking of running a business to consider a Superglamp cabin however. If we had the space (and the budget!) having one of these tucked away at the bottom of the garden would be marvelous, I’m sure our friends would never want to leave!

You can find out more about Superglamp, or why not book a stay in one of the cabins at Swiss Farm Touring & Camping Park.
