What we thought
The presentation is abslutely lovely with two different designs to choose from, either blue polka dot or retro flowers and the first thing I noticed was the quality. I’ve had miniature first aid kits before that have been cheap and cheerful, with plasters that didn’t stick very well and flimsy cases, but the Yellodoor travel first aid kit is different.
The little wipe-clean case is really good quality and feels like it would last for many years of use, in fact the cases are so pretty you’d definitely want to reuse it when the contents have all been used, either by refilling with plasters etc as you use them, or putting it to use as a cute little makeup bag.
Inside, when you first open the case it doesn’t look like there’s much in there, but as you remove each item, you find more and more to uncover! I thought the addition of proper round-ended bandage scissors and slanted tweezers was a really good idea, and there wasn’t anything in there I didn’t think would come in handy at one time or another.
As well as it being perfect for camping, it’s ideal for travel too. If you have kids especially, keeping one of these kits in the glove box makes a lot of sense, and for camping I’ve added mine to my always-packed camping essentials box alongside things like duck tape and cable ties.
The verdict
This is a brilliant value little first aid kit, I love the design of the little cases which are not only really good quality, but they look good enough to use as a makeup bag once the contents have all been used, or of course you could just refill it with plasters etc as needed.
A handy little first aid kit like this should be on ever campers essentials list, and this one is small enough to keep in your camping essentials box or to keep with you in the glove box of the car.
