Every now and again we come across a product so awesome that we can’t wait to tell everyone about it. So what is this wondrous thing I’m positively frothing about? It’s a mirror. OK hang on, stay with me on this and let me explain.
The Magic Mirror is in fact an easily portable, robust full length travel mirror. Use it folded over as a desktop mirror, fold it all the way out and hang it in your tent and use as a full length mirror, or fold out on it’s side and use as a dressing table mirror. It comes in loads of funky colours and patterns too; we particularly like the purple glitter version and the nature inspired Bahama Island version that we were sent to try out.
Whilst I love taking a more relaxed approach to how I look and actively revel in the fact that I get to dress in a highly, uhm, ‘eccentric’ way whilst I’m camping, having a full-length mirror at hand is definitely very useful indeed. In fact, I’m amazed that I’ve camped this long without one.
For those into live action role playing, getting into elaborate costumes and makeup at LARP events gets a whole lot easier with a full length mirror on hand.
Whilst the Magic Mirror is perfect for camping, of course because it’s portable, it can easily be popped into your suitcase or bag, so it’s just as useful for holidays and weekends away too.
So by all means at the campsite, continue to dress for practicality and embrace a relaxed look (I refer to my own look as ‘wild woman of Borneo chic’), but oh my goodness, once you have a Magic Mirror you’ll wonder how you ever camped without it.
